This last year of the Golden Rabbit was calm and reflective giving us time to catch our breath and focus on family and our homes. Now, as we start the Chinese New Year of the Water Dragon we better hold onto our hats for a wild ride!
The Dragon has long been a symbol of intense power in mythical traditions holding much honor and respect. The Dragon is exciting and vibrant but also can have a temper and holds an element of danger. The element of water associated with the dragon this year will have a calming effect on the boldness of the dragon to help us take a step back and look before acting too quickly.
Good fortune and luck will come to us easily with the help of the dragon. The Water Dragon calls us to be daring and walk with courage and confidence into all our endeavors. Take your grand ideas and make them happen as the dragon is motivating providing us with many opportunities. This will be a great year to receive financial abundance and begin new projects, especially in business. This is also said to be an auspicious year to get married and have children. Because the Dragon is one of the ultimate symbols of cosmic “Qi”, we can expect our bodies to be strong and healthy in 2012.
2012 will be an exciting year of “being in the flow” with all things in our lives.
Cheers to a healthy, abundant and prosperous 2012!
