Any time is the best time to start fertility acupuncture!
Many of our patients have been referred to us by their fertility clinic for acupuncture. Reproductive Endocrinologists know that incorporating fertility acupuncture protocols into their IUI and IVF treatment plans increases their success by 65%! That’s huge, especially when no one wants to waste time while trying to conceive!
Studies show that weekly acupuncture for 12 weeks leading up to an egg retrieval for an IVF procedure improves the chances of getting pregnant and delivering a healthy baby!
At Willow Tree Wellness, our Clinic Director Kiné Fischler LAc has specialized in treating couples who are having trouble with infertility as well as LGBTQ+ couples preparing for IUI or IVF, couples experiencing recurrent miscarriages, as well as couples who simply want to be their healthiest before trying to get conceive!
When meeting with a fertility acupuncturist, you are not only discussing how to get pregnant but you are also getting a thorough evaluation of your overall health and well being. We have seen the small tweaks to diet, nutritional supplementation, exercise and healthy lifestyles have the compounded effect of improving fertility naturally and supporting a healthy pregnancy with you feeling your best while waiting for your baby to arrive.
Consistent fertility acupuncture 1-2 times a week regulates your menstrual cycle, alleviates painful periods and helps build a healthy uterine lining primed for implantation by increasing blood flow to the reproductive organs.
Acupuncture also reduces inflammation and regulates immune responses that may also be contributing to infertility.
At Willow Tree Wellness we are Board Certified as Licensed Herbalists with extensive training in creating personalized herbal formulations designed just for your body’s needs.
These are food based remedies so your body is able to easily metabolize these herbal medicines to balance hormones, vitalize your blood with nutrients, transforming any symptoms over a course of 3 – 6 months. Our medicine gently stimulates your body’s natural abilities to create and regulate your own hormones, not overstimulate them.
It takes 90 days for an egg to develop and grow to the size that is needed for successful conception. We are improving the egg quality at whichever stage they are in their development but the optimal response is between 3-6 months. You may become pregnant on your own during that time but if not, you are improving the eggs for your IUI or your retrieval before IVF.
Because we do need to give nature more time than medications, we highly recommend Pre Conception Care at least 3 months before trying to conceive.
At Willow Tree Wellness, our goal is to not only increase your success of pregnancy but also to help you have a healthy pregnancy and deliver a happy, healthy full term baby!
